Overcentre valve
- These valves block the actuator's oil outlet until a pilot pressure inversely proportional to the load to be withstood by the actuator is reached in the inlet line. In this way, the load does not overspeed, and the load descent speed corresponds to the flow rate controlled by the control valve.
- In the case of zero pilot pressure, the pressure required to open the valve corresponds to its taring, thus operating as a brake valve.
